System Objective
Zeta-pdm Ltd. maintains an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS), which is certified by NQA to the international standard BS EN OHSAS 18001:2007, with the unique certificate number: H 3186.
The purpose of this system is to prevent accidents and incidents of work related ill-health by effectively managing the health and safety risks that arise from the processes and activities managed by the organisation. A more detailed description may be viewed within our Occupational Health & Safety Policy.
All tasks within the Company are undertaken in-line with procedures detailed within the Company's OHSMS. The system is also designed to accommodate any Client specific project requirements.
The system is designed to ensure compliance with legal requirements, the requirements of BS EN OHSAS 18001:2007 and any other Occupational Health and Safety requirements that the organisation subscribes to. It has been authorised by the Senior Management of Zeta-pdm and support for its implementation and compliance with its procedures is a condition of employment for all employees.
The system is integrated with and shares common processes, procedures and documents with the organisation's certified Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS).
Scope
The Scope of the OHSMS covers the management of all health and safety risks arising from and relating to the processes, work areas and work activities covering the supply of 2 and 3-phase separation equipment that are under the control of Zeta-pdm. This includes all activities at its site in Newport, Isle of Wight and those activities that take place away from its site arising from its sales, purchasing and supply processes.
The Registration scope is “Design activities, project management, supply of separation equipment and management of equipment manufacture into the oil, gas, water and petrochemical industries”.
