Parque das Conchas (BC-10)

Shell serves as the operator for the Parque das Conchas (aka BC-10) project which consists of five fields, Ostra, Abalone, Argonauta B-West, Argonauta O-North and Nautilus, located in the Campos Basin area, offshore Espirito Santo, Brazil. The project is situated 75 miles (120 km) southeast of the city of Vitoria, in water depths of 4,921 to 6,562 feet (1,500 to 2,000 meters). The first phase of the project commenced production on July 13, 2009.

The FPSO Espirito Santo was chartered by the BC-10 Joint Venture, which is operated by Shell with ONGC Campos Ltda. and Petróleo Brasilieiro S.A. (Petrobras) as co-venturers, from SBM Offshore in joint venture with MISC, under a long term lease and operate contract for the BC-10 deep water field development.

As part of this project, Zeta-pdm Ltd supplied the design, engineering and the supply of the new build separation internals for the three (3) new vertical scrubbers; FGC Suction Scrubber V-T7111, Compression K.O. Drum V-T 7410 and the HP Fuel Gas Scrubber V-T7701.
